We usually do our big fortnightly grocery shopping in Carlow. This Saturday we went to LIDL supermarket. As it is the covid times, it takes more time to enter the shop and do the shopping as we have to follow the safety rules right from waiting in the queue outside while maintaining social distancing and sanitising our hands before entering the shop, to wearing masks and so on. And yes, in these pandemic times it is important we obey all these safety rules as it is protecting not only us but even those around us. And a huge appreciation to all these establishments whether small or big to take the pain and ensure that the customers’ needs are met and maintaining all the required safety measures. 

Anyway, since the waiting time was more, I got the kids a pack of four Lidl Triple Choc Cookies which cost 2 Euros. Its pretty big and has nuts and chocolate chips in it. Well, it brought them to life with the very first bite and then there was no turning back. And it was so cute to watch their expressions that I wanted to record it and show it to Mom so she could enjoy it too. But the cookies were so tasty that we ended up making a fun ad out of the Lidl Cookies. And the whole time our little baby Sarah was fast asleep not knowing that after she would wake up there would be one big Lidl Cookie waiting just for her.
