Congrats Netherlands Women,Ireland Women’s Hockey Team 

Ireland lost to defending champions Netherlands in the finals of the Women’s World Hockey Tournament 2018 held at the Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis Centre within the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London, England. Though they gave a strong and spirited fight, the record eight time Hockey champions were just too good for the first time finalists. The Dutch won comfortably and the score was 6-0. Spain defeated Australia 3-1 to secure the 3^rd place.

The Ireland women's national field hockey team is organised by Hockey Ireland and represents both the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland in international women's field hockey competitions, including the Women's Hockey World Cup, the Women's EuroHockey Nations Championship and the Hockey Series.
