All about GOOGLE BUZZ
What happens when Google mixes Facebook, Orkut, Twitter and Gmail? Presto!- You have GOOGLE BUZZ! GOOGLE BUZZ is the latest online revolution from Google and is inbuilt in your GMAIL account. As their caption suggests Google Buzz indeed goes 'beyond status messages!' You can share updates, conversations, photos, videos, and even more. You have the liberty to follow and unfollow those contacts that you choose, just as in Twitter. However, your text is definitely limited to more than 140. The Buzz option is in your Gmail Inbox right under 'Inbox'. When you click on Buzz you enter the page where you have a text box with every option to insert photos, videos or links. Well, I haven’t used this much but I did post three links to test it. Who knows, Google Buzz might just try and be a major threat to Facebook and Twitter.
Here are 10 things you can do with GOOGLE BUZZ:
1. Already inbuilt: You are automatically connected with your contacts having Gmail account and can choose whom to follow or unfollow.
2. Publishing privacy: You can share your status and discussions to the whole world or just to your selected followers.
3. Comments: Conversations are easy to continue as every comment reaches your inbox.
4. Photo sharing: You can share your favourite photos without having to attach them as you would do with an email. You can also browse full-screen photos from popular sites.
5. Video sharing: Videos can also be shared as the link is accessible right where you click.
6. Thumbnails: Each photo and video has a thumbnail which you can choose.
7. Site networking: Whenever you update something in Twitter, Picasa, Flickr and Google Reader, it is buzzed to your Google Buzz contacts.
8. Refresh no more: Directly view your inbox. No need to refresh for new comments as all updates are buzzed instantly.
9. Good recommendations: Buzz recommends comments which you can keep or reject.
10. Phone Buzz: Can you spot Jedward or Julia Roberts in your street? Capture them on your phone and buzz it!
