Happy New Year 2014 Goodbye 2013

2013 has gone by. Welcome 2014.

WELCOME 2014
By God's grace and mercy we are once again alive and well to enter the new year. The past year was eventful in many ways. Lots of memories to cherish. Hope the new year promises more good news and wonderful memories.

Some of our loved ones have left the world and we definitely miss their presence at this moment when we enter the new year. We shall always keep them in our hearts and smile at all the memories that were shared together.

Babies were born into the world and into the hands of eagerly waiting parents. Precious moments. Praying that this year turns out to be a year of miracles for those who are still praying for children.

Many hands were exchanged in marriages and dreams were fulfilled. Let's pray that life partners for those seeking are found and many more dreams are fulfilled.

Tragedies have occured and lives were lost, homes were destroyed and hopes shattered in just seconds. Let us do our part and help those in need and pray that they are restored with all that they had lost and let the smiles come back on their face.

Thank God that we have got one more opportunity to do what we could not do, to speak what we could not speak and help those we could not help.

Each day is a blessing and oportuntiy for each of us to lend a helping hand and make a difference in this world.

Enjoy, be happy and keep praying.

Have a great 2014 and God bless you all :)

RIP PAUL WALKER

Sad news... Just heard Paul Walker the star of Fast & Furious movie series has passed away in a car accident.

There have been rumours of celebrity deaths in the past which have turned out to be a hoax. So here too Im wishing and hoping for the best. Maybe we will know in 2 days time.

However, the first time I saw Paul Walker on screen was during my school days in Indian School Bahrain. I think I was in the 6th or 7th grade. He starred in an episode of 'Charles in Charge', a Scott Baio starrer comedy series, and his role was pretty good. His name in that episode was 'Russel Davis', a new hunk in school. As usual this episode was also damn funny. But the character of Russel Davis played by Paul Walker stood out. And that was one episode which really remained in my memories.

After a decade, 'The Fast And The Furious' releases, and the actor on screen looks really really familiar in this action movie directed by John Singleton and produced by Neal H. Moritz. Thanks to Google I learn that Brian O'Conner is Paul Walker, the same guy who played Russel Davis! Wow! After all these years I finally see him again. And this time, along with Vin Diesel and the gang, he is in an all-out action-packed movie which became an instant cult hit! Well done Paul Walker.

More movies later, he has established himself as a bankable actor who captured the hearts of both film-makers and the audience. He had been filming for 'Fast & Furious 7', which also stars, Dwayne The Rock Johnson, Jason Statham, Kurt Russell and Tony Jaa.

And now this news...

If it's not true, we are here to enjoy your role once again in 'Fast & Furious 7'.

But if it is true... RIP Paul Walker, you really entertained us and the Fast & Furious franchise will not be the same without you anymore.
