supervise children into using
plastic or party knives instead of
sharp kitchen knives.
2. Always let your child go
'Trick or Treating' with a
familiar group and
not alone. You can never doubt a

3. Come to a
mutual understanding on the
route which will be decided for the group to go Trick or Treating and
no alternate routes.
4. Ensure that every child in the group is
familiar with the houses they will be visiting and not to entertain homes of
strangers.
5. Unless accompanied by a
parent or an
elderly group leader is available, children should
never get into any person’s house.

costumes, wigs and other clothing materials used should not
limit the child’s movement and must be
fire- resistant.
