An Post Sending Love Free Postcard to cheer up during this hard time. Come Together Write Now. Tar le chéile Scríobh Anois
An Post Sending Love 31 March 2020
Today, 31 March 2020 we received the
free An Post postcards by post.
An Post, the national Postal services
for Ireland is doing its best to ensure the people are connected in this
difficult times when the nation is in lockdown. We are all supposed to stay at
home and be safe. But this means that we are not able to meet our near and dear
ones and we worry about them.
#WriteNow AnPost campaign
Yes we can phone them regularly and even Skype, Whatsapp
and Zoom them but while we do all this we will still be surprised if we receive
something in the post from that special someone we love and care about. And
that is where An Post is taking this initiative as it cares for all the people
it sincerely serves in Ireland.
It has just launched a new campaign called “Come
Together. Write Now” (“Tar le chéile. Scríobh Anois” in Irish (Gaeilge)). By
this campaign, An Post aims to drop ‘Sending Love’ titled free postcards to all
homes across Ireland so that we can send it free to those we care about and let
them know that they are not alone and they are always thought of and loved and
will be there to help them in whatever way possible.
Come Together Write Now AnPost
This is a great and very
touching initiative by An Post and we thank them for this and appreciate them a
lot. Surely we must support and use the services of An Post and do our part too
in ensuring this heritage services department is running for many more years
connecting the people everywhere.
Also lets all pray and hope that everything
is back to normal as soon as possible and lets do our part in staying safely at
home.

Irish Poem Duilleoga Deasa Deasa (The Teachers Poem ‘Nice Nice Leaves’) Gaeilge
David reciting Irish poem Duilleoga Deasa
The Irish language poem Duilleoga Deasa
Deasa is a teachers’ poem for school children. It translates to English as
‘Nice Nice Leaves’. The teachers teach this poem to kids in school when autumn
begins. The children are also taken outside the classroom and asked to walk
outdoors within the school campus and explore and look at the trees and plants
and see how the leaves are falling down. They are also given the task to pick
up and gather leaves from the ground which has different colours like brown,
yellow, orange and so on. This helps them to clearly feel and understand how the leaves
change their colours and fall from the trees during autumn just before the
winter season.

reciting the Irish poem ‘Duilleoga Deasa Deasa’:
Ireland Schools Closed For 2 Weeks- Drawing and Colouring Activities- Happy St.Patricks Day
The schools are closed for 2 weeks as
everyone is supposed to be home and be safe.
Happy St.Patrick's Day
Unless there’s an emergency or work
related reasons we are not to go outside as the virus is spreading rapidly from
people to people. Well, as much as the kids drive us crazy at home they also
enjoy and make the best of their time. They did get a homework set from school
which they have to work on for these 2 weeks. On St.Patrick’s Day all the
parades and festivals were cancelled too which is sad but also a very important
and correct decision because at the end of the day everyone’s health is
important. So take care and be safe everyone. Lets hope and pray everything gets back to normal as soon as possible.
Well here are the
kids having fun on St.Patricks Day and also drawing and colouring some
